Who is behind Cross Stitch
An APTMA profile lists Cross Stitch as the fashion retail brand of the Ayesha Group, a Lahore industrial group with textile spinning mills, a leather tannery and shoe factory, a socks factory and an embroidery factory. Its chief executive is Asad Shafi. A 2016 Daily Pakistan report on a lawn launch at its MM Alam flagship in Lahore names Asad Shafi and Mishal Asad as the couple behind it.
The embroidery factory is relevant: thread work is the brand's identity.
