The company behind the label
Limelight describes itself as a fashion retail brand with unstitched, pret, western wear, shoes and accessories. Its company profile names Maypole (Pvt.) Limited, with Wahaaj Tariq and Amna Wahaaj as founders, and gives Lahore as its base. Sources quote different store counts, from more than 70 to more than 80, so we do not print one.
The practical point is the breadth: one brand covers eastern and western clothing, which is useful if you are building a whole outfit in one place.
Unstitched, pret and western: what to browse
Use unstitched suits if you will go to a tailor, ready-to-wear for finished outfits and lawn for the warm months. Limelight also sells western wear, shoes and accessories, so a full outfit can come from one brand; the Outfit Builder adds up a top, bottom, dupatta and shoes and shows the total.
Price: where Limelight sits
Limelight is usually discussed as an affordable name, but the page you should trust is the price range at the top of this one. Compare it with a similar brand using the under Rs 2,000 and under Rs 5,000 pages, and check what you are comparing: piece count, dupatta fabric and embroidery change the price more than the brand does.
Limelight sets its own discounts. Watch the sale page, save a piece and set a price alert, and test any offer with how to spot a real sale.
Sizing: stitched or unstitched
Unstitched fabric is cut to your tailor's measurements, so check the length of each piece on Limelight's own page against what your tailor needs; the guide to reading a listing explains metres, yards and extras. For stitched pieces, use Limelight's size chart and compare it with a garment you own; the size guide explains how.
Limelight or Zellbury?
Zellbury, launched in 2016, is the usual comparison for an everyday price: it is newer and, like Limelight, sells men's and kids' lines. The comparison that matters is the same fabric, piece count and embroidery side by side, which Compare Brands shows. If you want a mill-backed alternative, look at Gul Ahmed or Alkaram Studio.
Buying from abroad
Check Limelight's own site for delivery to your country, duties, returns and exchange rules before you order. SabKapray does not sell or ship; Buy opens the brand's own website.
What we checked
Written in October 2026. The launch year, founders, company name and product range come from Limelight's company profile pages and listings (including TheOrg and the brand's app listing) and press coverage. Store counts differ between sources, so none is printed. We did not check Limelight's delivery or return terms.
