Where Nishat Linen comes from

According to Wikipedia's Nishat Mills page, Nishat Mills was founded in 1951, and Nishat Linen was founded in 1989 by Naz Mansha and set up its factory the same year. Its first retail store opened in 1994.

Do not confuse it with The Linen Company, which is run by a different group, Nishat Chunian, and sells mainly bed linen.

Lawn, pret and home: what to browse

Nishat Linen, Gul Ahmed or Alkaram Studio?

All three are linked to textile groups. Gul Ahmed opened its retail chain in 2003 and Alkaram Studio in 2010; Nishat Linen's first store dates to 1994, earlier than either. Compare the same fabric and piece count with Compare Brands rather than going by reputation.

Buying from abroad

Wikipedia reports that Nishat Linen operates stores and franchises in countries including the UAE, the USA, Bangladesh and the United Kingdom, and has a UK online store.
