What the label sells
Dawn describes Zara Shahjahan's unstitched summer collections as extremely popular, and the designer has said lawn gave her and other designers the chance to build their brands. The brand's own blog says it sells both unstitched collections and luxury pret. An older Dawn feature on alternatives to lawn praised the Coco line as reasonably priced and creative, with the Zara Shahjahan signature but not the designer price tag.

Designer lawn made with a mill
Dawn has described Zara Shahjahan's Kamal Lawn as an example of a designer working with a mill, and a 2014 announcement introduced Kamal Lawn by Zara Shahjahan for spring and summer, sold at So Kamal stores in five cities. Kamal Limited's own profile says Kamal Lawn by Elan was its first local venture, which is why Elan and Zara Shahjahan are often mentioned together. See So Kamal for the mill side of that story.
Who produces and sells the current collection is a detail the brand controls, so check Zara Shahjahan's own page for the collection you are looking at.
What a Zara Shahjahan unstitched kit includes
The brand's own blog says its unstitched 3-piece kits include the main fabric panels, embroidered necklines and sleeve patches, and decorative organza borders as shown in the look books. That is the kind of detail to confirm on any listing: patches and borders are often separate pieces your tailor has to place. Our guide to reading an unstitched listing shows how to read lengths and extras.
Unstitched or pret
Unstitched lets your tailor cut to your measurements and takes longer; pret is ready to wear and follows the brand's size chart. If the date is close, pret is the safer choice. The stitched vs unstitched guide compares the two, and the size guide explains how to measure.
Price and sales
Use the range at the top of this page, and compare designer lawn with designer lawn, not with mill lawn. Zara Shahjahan sets its own sales; watch the sale page and test offers with how to spot a real sale.
Copies and buying abroad
Dawn has reported on copies of designer lawn sold in markets at a fraction of the original price, and named Zara Shahjahan among the designers whose suits sell there. Buy from the brand's own website or stores. For delivery abroad, duties and returns, check the brand's own site. SabKapray does not sell or ship.
What we checked
Written in October 2026. The range and Coco come from Dawn features; the kit contents from the brand's own blog; the Kamal Lawn collaboration from a 2014 announcement and Kamal Limited's company profile. We found no reliable founding year, so none is printed. We did not check delivery terms.
