Two brands under one name

Profit reported in January 2017 that Outfitters launched in 2003, the third western-wear retail brand of its kind in Pakistan after Leisure Club (1997) and Crossroads (2002), and that Ethnic, launched in 2011 for Pakistani-style women's wear, had come to account for about half of the company's growth in stores and revenue over five years. Outfitters Junior, for kids, followed in 2008. The company's chief executive is Kamran Khurshid.

This matters for shoppers: a product from Ethnic is eastern wear, a product from Outfitters is mostly western wear. Check the label.

What each brand is for

Outfitters sells jeans, tees and casual western clothing. Ethnic sells eastern wear for women, from pret to unstitched. Browse ready-to-wear and unstitched suits for the eastern range.

A company officer told Profit the strategy was fast fashion at affordable prices, but prices change by season, so use the range at the top of this page.
