Planning outfits for Nikkah
Nikkah outfits currently ranges from Rs 24,950 to Rs 950,000 on SabKapray across 17 in-stock pieces, based on live, in-stock pricing. A nikkah dress is usually modest and softer in colour: full or three-quarter sleeves, a longer shirt and a dupatta that stays on comfortably, because the ceremony can mean sitting for a long time. This page compares nikah-tagged outfits from Pakistani brands. SabKapray is a Pakistani fashion price-comparison site where Buy opens the brand's own site.
Check sleeves, length and seating first, then colour, then filter by price and brand. If the nikkah is soon, choose ready to wear in a size you have checked.

The nikkah rule: coverage and seating first, colour second
The nikkah is the marriage ceremony, and the outfit works best when it is easy to sit in and modest. Check four things before colour.
- Sleeves: full or three-quarter sleeves are the safe starting point.
- Shirt length: long enough to sit comfortably, on a floor or on a chair.
- Dupatta: wide enough to cover the head if needed, and stable enough to stay in place without constant adjusting.
- Opacity: a lining or slip if the fabric is light.
Do a sit test at home: sit on the floor and on a chair with the dupatta on, and stand up without help. If the outfit fails, it will bother you through the whole ceremony. A formal event can also carry a fuller outfit, but a softer cut is still the usual starting point.
Nikkah colours: soft first, rich if it is an evening event
Ivory, champagne, blush, sage, powder blue and soft gold are common nikkah colours, and a deeper shade can suit an evening ceremony. Some families keep white and ivory for the bride, so ask if you plan either, and many guests avoid all black at a religious ceremony.
Colour looks different under a mosque's daylight than in a hall's warm light, so look at more than one photo. Compare shades on the white, beige, pink and blue pages, and read the colour name in the product title.
Home nikkah, mosque nikkah or hall nikkah
Where the nikkah is held changes what works.
- At home: a small gathering, often at floor level. Soft fabrics, an easy sleeve and shoes you can slip off suit it.
- In a mosque: modest coverage matters more, and shoes come off. Choose a dupatta that covers the head comfortably and trousers that do not ride up when you sit.
- In a hall: more like other wedding functions, with room for richer fabric and some embroidery.
If the nikkah is part of the barat, see the barat page for the dressier outfit. Ask the family where it will be held and how formal it is, because the same invitation can mean very different dressing.
Close family, guests and how formal a small nikkah can be
A nikkah is often smaller and more intimate than the other functions, so a well-cut, well-pressed suit can be enough. A polished ready-to-wear suit with a dressy dupatta suits many family nikkahs, and you do not need a heavily worked piece.
Close family often get a specific brief, such as a colour or a level of formality. If you are the sister, cousin or close friend of the bride or groom, ask early, before the budget and the timeline narrow your choice. For other functions in the week, see the shadi page.
Fabric, winter wraps, value and spelling
Chiffon, organza, raw silk and net suit soft nikkah colours, and a light jacquard adds warmth in cold months. For a winter nikkah, keep the suit light and add a good shawl.
A simpler nikkah outfit is easy to wear again, which helps value, and under Rs 5,000 and under Rs 10,000 list everything up to their limit. If you are stitching, allow time for a tailor and a fitting, and check the brand's chart with the size guide.
Spellings vary on listings: nikah, nikkah and nikaah are all common. A piece appears here when brands use the word nikah in its title or tags, so if a search looks thin, also check the shadi page, which covers every wedding-tagged piece.
