How to shop Bags
Choose a bag by what it must carry and how long you will wear it: a clutch holds a phone and cards, while a tote or backpack holds a book or a small laptop. SabKapray is a Pakistani fashion price-comparison site where Buy opens the brand's own site, so you can compare handbags, clutches, totes, crossbody bags, wallets and pouches from many brands, regularly updated.
Start with the newest products if you want fresh stock. Use filters when you want to separate budget picks from premium pieces, or when you want to focus on colours and brands that suit the look you have in mind.

Size by contents: what fits in each bag type
Start with the list of what you carry.
- Clutch or potli: a phone, a few cards and a lip product.
- Shoulder bag: a wallet, phone, keys and a small pouch.
- Crossbody bag: the same load, hands-free and harder to snatch in a crowd.
- Tote: a notebook or a small laptop with a charger.
- Backpack: books and a laptop for long days.
- Wallets and pouches: also listed here, for cards and small items.
Photos can make a small bag look large. Read the dimensions in the product details and compare them with your phone or laptop, adding room for the charger.
Strap, closure and lining: three details to check
For a bag you carry all day, check the strap: sturdy, adjustable or detachable, and how it is attached. A zip closure protects contents, a magnetic snap is quick, and a flap keeps dust out. Inside pockets keep a phone and cards separate from keys.
Close-up photos show stitching, lining and hardware. Heavily beaded clutches look rich but need gentle handling, while plain structured bags handle daily use better. If the listing has no photo of the inside, check the brand's own page before buying.
Faux or genuine leather: reading the material line
Many bags are made of faux or synthetic leather, fabric or embellished materials, and some are genuine leather. Read the product description, since brands usually state which. If it does not say, ask the brand rather than assume.
Genuine leather generally costs more and can last longer, while good synthetic material can look neat and is easy to wipe clean. A very low price next to a claim of genuine leather is a reason to ask. Check whether the lining is fabric or synthetic, since it affects how the bag wears inside.
Daily bag or event bag: where to spend
A bag you carry every day gives better value per use than a clutch you carry twice a year, so spend more on the daily bag if your budget is limited. Choose a neutral shade first, such as black, beige or tan; the black and beige pages help you compare shades.
For an event, a clutch in a colour that picks up the outfit keeps your hands free. Our shadi page shows what shoppers choose for each function, and shoes helps you finish the look.
Keeping a bag in shape
Empty it regularly, wipe the inside and stuff it lightly with tissue so it keeps its shape. Store it in a cotton dust bag away from sun and damp. Wipe synthetic leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth and check the brand's advice before using a cleaner.
Do not overload a bag, because strain weakens straps and stitching. Check zips and strap stitching every few months, since a small early repair costs far less than replacing the bag.
