When to shop yellow outfits
Yellow pieces currently ranges from Rs 200 to Rs 235,000 on SabKapray across 2,618 in-stock pieces, based on live, in-stock pricing. Yellow works in two seasons and two moods: lemon and pastel yellow for spring and summer lawn and daytime mehndi, mustard and ochre for cooler months and festive evenings. Decide which end you want, then compare yellow pieces from 50+ Pakistani brands on SabKapray before buying on the brand's own site.
Listings that name yellow appear here, including mustard yellow; a suit listed only as mustard or lemon may sit under its own name. Peela is the everyday word for yellow, haldi is turmeric yellow and sarson is mustard. Buy opens the brand's own site, where the colour name and care note are final. A listing can name more than one colour, so yellow prints on other bases may appear here too.

Lemon, pastel, haldi and mustard: telling yellows apart
Lemon and canary are bright and cool. Pastel and butter yellow are soft. Haldi is a warm turmeric yellow, and mustard and ochre are deep and brownish. The first two lean spring and summer, the last two lean autumn and winter.
On screens, yellow drifts towards green or orange, so compare two photos and note the shade name in the listing.
Yellow for mehndi, haldi and bright days
Yellow is closely tied to mehndi and haldi (ubtan) ceremonies in many families, often worn by the bride's side or close family, while guests usually follow the invitation. For an event with turmeric, choose an easily washed cotton or lawn rather than silk or heavy embroidery.
Yellow and green, or yellow and pink, are common festive pairings. See the mehndi and shadi pages for more.
Mustard and deeper yellows for cooler days
Mustard looks rich in khaddar, karandi and velvet, and suits autumn and winter wear. Pair it with navy, white, black or olive, and keep the dupatta simple.
Because mustard sits near brown and orange in some photos, check a daylight image. See winter suits for heavier fabrics.
Yellow every day: the near-the-face rule
Yellow is a demanding colour near the face. Many people find pale yellow harder to wear than mustard, though this depends on skin tone and light, so hold the colour near your face by a window first.
If you are unsure, try a yellow print or a yellow dupatta with a neutral shirt, which gives the colour without covering the whole outfit.
